hey guys! inside ur science notes, there is this portion of how you would classify the substances on the 2nd page. heres the answer. copy all of it. mwuahahaha.

Based on the densities of the substances, gold and cobalt can be grouped together as a group and the other substances in another.

Based on the electrical conductivities of the substances, gold and cobalt should be in a group, germanium can form a group on its own while bromine and sulfur can form another group.

Based on the thermal conductivities of the substances, gold cobalt and germanium can be grouped together and the other substances in another. This grouping can also be applied based on the melting and boiling points of the substances as well.

Classification of substances is arbitrary; it changes according to various properties of the substances. There may be another classification scheme which is just as valid. In some cases, scientists agree on a scheme, which makes it easier to communicate information and ideas.
